First impressions count, and nothing gives a royal welcome quite like purple. Rich and superb yet attractive and intimate, purple is a wonderful colour if you want to give your corridor an immediate change.

Rich, earthy purples like violet, orchard and violet look attractive when match with crisp white trim, or you could paint the lower half of the wall a darker colour and the top half a lighter colour for a more delicate alternative. For an old-style look, try purple with gold, or mix purple with a glossy black polish for a shiny, refined feel.
